HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE A FACIAL?We recommend having a professional facial once a month. Skin cells have a turn-over rate of 28 days so a monthly facial would help to deep cleanse and remove impurities from the pores. On a budget? Schedule a facial every three months and maintain healthy skin at home with our line of eminence organic skincare products available at our boutique. We recommend using a gentle facial cleanser, toner, serum, and moisturizer twice a day and adding an exfoliant and masque twice a week. Don't forget to wear sunscreen with at least spf 25 every day. Always treat your skin gently and never try at-home extractions, leave that to your estheticians.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BIKINI, IN-BETWEENIE, AND A BRAZILLIAN WAX?A basic bikini wax removes any hair from the edges that would be visible out of a standard bikini bottom. An in-betweenie wax brings those edges in even further and takes a little off the top as well. A brazilian wax removes everything underneath, behind and most (if not all) off the front.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR WAXING SERVICE?A good candidate should have hair that is at least 1/4 inch in length for the wax to grab hold. For most people, this means letting your hair grow for at least 1 to 2 weeks after shaving. Users of retin-a, renova, differin, accutane, tetracycline, and certain antibiotics are advised not to have waxing performed as these medications tend to weaken the skin; tearing of the skin may occur when the wax is removed. Other acne medications, alpha hydroxy acids, topical antibiotics, and salicylic acid can be contraindicative to waxing as well. It is your responsibility as a client to inform your esthetician prior to waxing if you are currently using or have recently used any of the above ingredients. Waxing should not be done on areas of skin affected by warts, pimples, moles, rashes or on skin that is irritated, chapped or suffering from sunburn. If you bleed, bruise, or have skin that tears easily, waxing may not be the ideal form of hair removal for you.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?We request the courtesy of a 24 hour notice in the event that a service appointment needs to be cancelled. Failure to do so will result in a no-show fee of 50% of the scheduled service. A confirmation call is also given two days prior to the scheduled appointment. We understand that emergencies arise and in those cases, exceptions can be made. Appointments booked same day of service will be assessed a no-show fee should cancellation become necessary. This cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our therapists' and estheticians' schedule filled, thus better serving everyone.
